What happens at Gavels?
Gavels Club meeting format (of 120 minutes), conducted by young members, includes:

A Prepared Speeches Session where members prepare their speeches on the basis of their respective objects from Competent Communication Manual.

Impromptu Session where everyone can participate. The participant has to think and speak on-the-spot, on the topic given to them.

An Evaluation Session where the meeting is evaluated in-depth by different role players and a constructive feedback is given for future meetings

When and where are the meetings held?
Meetings are held on 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Porta Cabin, YMCA, Gate No. 3, Patel Chowk (Near Education Centre), New Delhi, Delhi, India.
Due to the pandemic, we are having online meetings on Google Meet. Link is shared prior to the meeting on our Facebook page.

Who can join?
Anyone of ages 11-18, subject to availability of seats and acceptance by the club.
How much does it cost?
The Toastmasters Gavel programme costs as follows:
One-Time Registration fee: Rs 3,000 plus
*Annual Fee: Rs 3,300
*Note: Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, only Registration fee is charged for the new joinees.
